Where can I get TakeOff?
Get TakeOff for iPhone and Mac on the App Store. The core travel record is free, with an optional TakeOff Pro subscription for extra travel tools.
How do I get started?
TakeOff opens straight into Trips. Add your first trip or switch to Atlas to mark the countries you’ve visited. You don’t need a TakeOff account. Profile setup, imports, and iCloud sync are optional in Settings.
How do I restore TakeOff Pro?
Open Settings and choose Restore purchases. Make sure you’re signed in with the Apple ID used for the original purchase. Apple manages your subscription and billing.
How does iCloud sync work?
Open Settings, then Sync & Data. Main app sync and document sync are separate choices. When enabled, they use Apple’s private CloudKit database for your Apple ID. Check that your devices use the same Apple ID and have iCloud access enabled.
Where are my expenses and documents?
Open an individual trip to find its Expenses and Documents. They belong to that trip, and new documents are saved directly to the open trip.
How do I import visited countries?
Open Settings to find travel-history imports. You can scan geotagged photos or supported Apple Health workout routes where available, after granting permission. Review and deselect countries before saving. Supported travel-file imports are available there too.
Can I use TakeOff without iCloud?
Yes. Keep sync disabled to store your travel record on your device. Live information such as maps, current exchange rates, and weather may still use an internet connection.
How do I delete my data?
Deleting the app removes local app data. If you enabled iCloud sync, remove TakeOff’s iCloud copy using Apple’s iCloud storage settings as well. See the privacy policy for data-handling details.
How do I report a problem?
Email contact@sinuk.dev with your device model, operating system version, TakeOff version, and the steps that led to the problem. A screenshot can help. Leave out private documents and booking details.
Does TakeOff track live flights?
TakeOff keeps a flight history and links flight records to trips. For live delays, gates, and operational alerts, use your airline or a live flight tracking app.
